March Social

Tennis Court Removal
We are sure you have noticed all the work going on at the Tennis Courts by the 1400 Building by now. We are removing the Tennis Courts and building a new Picnic Area. There will be a large Gazebo being constructed over the next few weeks and we will keep you posted on the progress!

Power Outages
Power Out?
Please call Duke-Energy if your power goes out (1-800-777-9898). They need to be notified and may even beable to tell you when the power will be back on.

Cooler Weather
Now that we are getting cooler weather and the nights are getting chilly....
When you turn your heat on for the first time you may get a slight burning smell. This is from where dust settles on the heating coil.

Rent Policy Update

RE: Rent Policy Reminder and Update J
Dearest Valued Residents:
This letter is a friendly reminder of our rent payment policy at Lincoln Green Apartments. We want to be certain that the policy is clear so that there will not be any confusion or frustration with rent payments.
We love having every single one of you as a resident and we want to do our part in communicating policies clearly. This policy has been a standard over the years, but a few of your checks may have slipped through!
The procedure is as follows:
- Rent is due on the first of the month and late after the fifth of the month;
- Checks that are received in the drop box at business opening on the 6th will not be considered “late.” All rent received after start of business on the 6th of the month will have the 5% late fee added onto the rent;
- If you pay your rent after the 5th, please pay in the form of cashier’s check or money order. Any payments that are not in the form of cashier’s check or money order cannot be accepted;
- We will proceed with legal action on the 11th of the month for any apartment who have not yet paid their rent. If you have any questions about this process, please contact the office.
We do have one new policy in place:
- We cannot accept more than one personal check – If rent on an apartment is paid by personal check, the check must be in the full amount of the monthly rent. We can, however, accept multiple cashier’s checks, money orders, or credit card payments.

New Office Hours
New Office Hours
Starting Monday November 5th, the office will be open from 9-6 Monday through Friday, 10-5 Saturday and 1-5 on Sundays.

January Social
Residents of Lincoln Green:
Due to the inclement weather, we have decided to postpone our social for this evening. We sincerely apologize for the short cancellation notice, however we feel this is for the safety of all residents and team members of Lincoln Green. The social is rescheduled for next Thursday, January 14, 2008. We hope to see you all there and have a safe weekend!
